About these terms

These terms govern authorized use of MyCamp, provided by Javadude Development at https://mycamp.javadude.dev. By using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms do not replace your organization’s governing documents or membership requirements.

Accounts and organization authority

Use only an account issued or approved for you. Provide accurate account information, protect your password and authenticator recovery codes, and notify us about suspected account misuse. Do not share credentials or access another person’s account.

Use organization records only within your assigned permissions and authority. Camp membership, officer appointment and application permissions are separate. Signing in through an external provider, if offered, does not itself grant an organizational role. Access may change when an account, organization authorization or subscription changes.

Acceptable use

Use MyCamp lawfully for authorized organization administration. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, impersonate others, obtain unauthorized member information, distribute malware, interfere with the service, or use contact information for unrelated unsolicited communications.

Do not submit content that infringes another person’s rights or that you lack authority to collect, store or distribute. Obtain appropriate permission for photographs, prayer requests and information about children. Use reports and exports responsibly and protect downloaded copies.

Your organization’s content

You and your organization retain your existing rights in content you submit. You authorize MyCamp to host, store, process and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, enforce permissions, maintain the service and respond to authorized support requests. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to MyCamp.

You and your organization are responsible for the accuracy of member, dues, officer and newsletter records, the permissions needed to submit them, and decisions about exporting or distributing them. Only share sensitive information with its intended, authorized recipients.

Reports, dues and communications

Reports reflect information recorded in the application and may require review or correction. MyCamp does not independently certify membership eligibility, officer appointments, dues payment or remittance. Verify records against your organization’s authoritative sources.

Recording a dues receipt, deposit or outgoing check does not initiate a bank payment or guarantee that funds were received. Printing or downloading a newsletter does not automatically mail or email it. You are responsible for reviewing recipients, content and any separately arranged delivery before distribution.

Availability, subscriptions and external services

MyCamp is under active development. Available features may change, and access can be limited by organization permissions, subscription eligibility, maintenance or security needs. Future features shown in planning materials are not a promise of availability or a delivery date.

Any separate written subscription or service agreement controls its pricing, billing and cancellation terms. These terms do not create a new fee or authorize automatic payments.

Google, Facebook, hosting providers and any separately enabled delivery services are governed by their own terms. MyCamp is not endorsed by Google or Facebook. This application does not replace the policies or authority of participating SCV or Friends of SCV organizations.

Suspension and ending use

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements or loss of organization authorization. Contact us if you believe access was restricted in error. You may stop using the service and request account closure.

Account closure does not necessarily delete organization history, records retained for legitimate purposes or copies already exported by authorized users. The Privacy Policy explains retention and data-request options.

Service limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MyCamp is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service, error-free results or fitness for every organization’s needs. Maintain appropriate copies of records your organization needs and review important outputs before relying on them.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any separate written agreement and applicable law remain controlling where they require different terms.

Changes and contact

We will update the date when these terms change and communicate material changes through the application or appropriate account contact channels. Any agreement or consent required by applicable law will be obtained before the relevant change takes effect.
